When looking for quality childcare you should expect the necessities of cleanliness, friendliness and state licensure.  To be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) the childcare center must go above and beyond the minimum requirements of the governing state. 

The areas of quality measured by the NAEYC are:

• Staff-to-child ratio

• Staff education and retention

• Staff interaction with families and children.

• Curriculum

 

The NAEYC validated our commitment to quality by awarding The Nurturing Nest accreditation in 1999.  This prestigious award puts The Nurturing Nest in the top 10% of all child care centers nationwide!
